Bitcoin near $80K is loud, but SOL is cleaner.
Bestie, BTC is sitting around $78,898 and the whole market can feel that almost-80K drama. But Fear and Greed is 74, so this is exactly where I stop buying the headline and start asking which chart has the freshest receipts.
Right now, that is Solana. SOL is up 3.32% in 24 hours and 28.7% on the week, outpacing BTC and ETH on the day. It is also on the CoinGecko trend board, and CoinDesk says a new Solana vote could ramp daily SOL burns to $800,000 while slowing new token creation.
Mija, that is price strength plus attention plus a supply catalyst. I like that setup more than chasing BTC just because the number looks spicy. But this is still provisional because greed is high.
